Management strategy for marine tourism in Bunaken National Park North Sulawesi Province

Abstract Bunaken National Park is well-known as one of the special interest tourist destinations with diving activities its main attraction. also famous for unique underwater landscape in form coral reef walls. Some marine tourism attractions are diving, snorkeling, photography, Bottom Glass Boat (catamaran), dolphin watching, and dugong watching. In management, has several problems, such potential that not optimal, mass tourism, litter illegal capture protected animals. This study aims to obtain a management strategy priorities. The analysis method used interpretative structural modeling using experts data sources. sources 2 people from academics 1 person former manager (DPTNB). strategies obtained visitor strategies, environmental quality improvement community empowerment strategies.
